On a flightless path.
Lives on the ground,
In melancholy silence.
Prays for day to fly.
A day to fly far.
A day to fly free.
Awakes to a god-given miracle.
For wings of valor and joy he was given.
His wings, flexing and curling.
Were awarded for ages of patience.
Finally his day had come.
Standing proud,
And full of joy,
He dives for the air to cradle his fall.
Softly,
It picks him up into the heavens.
He flaps and flaps and with determined strength.
Working with the wind to stay lifted.
High now he soars
feeling himself glide.
Carried by the breeze.
He soon dances with it,
Dances lightly and joyfully with his blessed sky.
Down he dips,
And awaiting the air to pull him back onto its heart.
Falling,
And falling,
And falling...

Ash the Tomcat's Debut!!!!
Posted 15 years agoSo... I've been practicing my art for the past few months... I still kinda suck, but it's better than nothing so I decided to finally... wait for it... wait for it.... POST SOMETHING!! :D So for anyone who stumbles across my page, you can finally see my art and tell me it sux! xD jkjk But seriously I hope you guys can at least appreciate it and maybe subscribe to me and watch me grow. ^_^
